Labor Day, I really have no idea why we celebrate it today. It must have been started to celebrate the laborers of the United States but I really need to read the history of this holiday.
As a girl, and a mom I remember it more because you are not suppose to wear white after Labor Day - or before Memorial Day for that matters - but for some reason, that rule does not seem to apply these days which I am glad of - I love white. White shirts, white shorts, white shoes - I actually love white pants but don't wear them these days cause they make my butt look bigger than it already is (which is pretty big)
So, doing my best to post occasionally - I am preparing for Labor Day..Good sales out in the stores. So, I will try to remember any good sales.. Until then - HAVE a GREAT LABOR DAY!

I thought I would say hey
Ok, since I opened the other blog - this one got to sit silent. I did want to at least say hi.

Off to a Busy Start
I don't mind a nip in the air - but this bitter cold stuff STINKS.. A few days in the 30s is one thing but when it stays in the teens and 20s geeze - my bones are not use to that.
Trying to get files cleaned up on my computer (well actually on my external) and it just takes so long - obviously, I have been in too much of a hurry to clean them up as I go but I do resolve to try harder.
RayAnn is getting excited about spring classes - if we can find books at a reasonable price it would make it a lot more exciting for me.
I would love to find a job that keeps me stimulated (without driving 150 miles a day to and from) Jobs are so few and even the kids are having issues with getting them. So, it is even harder for an older person (man or woman)
Whoohoo, got free flu shots at the Kroger and Chic-fil-A is the bomb (they advertised for a free biscuit - the new spicy one) and when I was going to order my drink it was free also. Love supporting a good Christian business.
This is all I am posting today - Have a blessed one and know God is always with you.
